Audit as
— craft, not procedure.

BD AUDYT Sp. z o.o. is a Polish audit firm. We work with boards of small, mid-cap and large companies as well as capital groups — those who expect not just a compliance report, but a partner in financial decisions.

Five areas of our audit and advisory practice.

01

Financial statements audit

Audits of standalone and consolidated financial statements, accounting books reviews, design of charts of accounts and internal procedures.

Statutory · Books review · Internal proc.
02

Tax & accounting advisory

Ongoing advisory for companies, preparation of annual financial statements, transfer-pricing documentation, year-end closing.

Tax · Transfer pricing · Year-end
03

Valuations

Business and share valuations, examination of restructuring plans of companies, financial analyses supporting ownership and management decisions.

Companies · Restructuring · Analyses
04

CFO on demand

Flexible support for decision-making — when you need it, without burdening your company's structure. You pay only for actual time worked: from a single consultation, through analysis of a specific decision, to recurring engagement during key moments of the fiscal year.

Consulting · CFO on demand · No payroll
05

ESG reporting & assurance

Support in preparing and providing assurance over sustainability reports in line with the CSRD directive and ESRS standards. We help map reporting obligations, design the process for collecting non-financial data and perform independent assurance over ESG disclosures required from large companies and public-interest entities.

CSRD · ESRS · Non-financial assurance

We research. We advise.
We audit.

B

We research

Every engagement starts with a conversation with the board and chief accountant. We understand the business before we evaluate the financial statements. We work according to Polish Auditing Standards (KSB).

D

We advise

Audit is not the end. We point out risks, suggest changes to procedures and stay in contact throughout the entire fiscal year — not only during reporting season.

AUDYT

We audit

Our documentation is complete; our communication — short and concrete. The audit opinion ends the process, but not the relationship with the client.

A boutique audit practice.

BD AUDYT Sp. z o.o. is an audit practice rooted in experience gained at international audit firms and in financial roles within capital companies.

We audit companies in manufacturing, services, real-estate development and wholesale. We also work with capital groups on consolidations and IFRS / IAS reporting.

We operate as a partnership-led firm — direct contact with the statutory auditor handling the engagement, no intermediate layers, no delegation of communication to junior staff.

Frequently asked questions.

01Is a statutory audit mandatory for my company in Poland?

For fiscal year 2026, an audit is required by law for, among others:

  • joint-stock companies (excluding companies in formation),
  • domestic banks, branches of credit institutions and foreign banks,
  • insurance and reinsurance companies,
  • investment funds and entities operating under regulations on trading in financial instruments.

For other entities (e.g. limited liability companies, registered partnerships, professional partnerships, limited partnerships, civil-law partnerships, and sole proprietorships), an audit is required if the entity met at least two of the following three thresholds in the preceding fiscal year (2025):

  • total balance sheet assets: ≥ EUR 2,500,000,
  • net revenues from sales of goods, products and financial operations: ≥ EUR 5,000,000,
  • average annual employment in full-time equivalents: ≥ 50 employees.

Euro-denominated thresholds are converted to PLN at the average NBP exchange rate on the last balance sheet day of the preceding year. For the 2026 audit obligation, the rate as at 31 December 2025 applies (PLN 4.2267 per EUR).

02How long does an audit take?
Typically 4 to 10 weeks from contract signature to audit opinion — depending on entity size, documentation quality and timely access to data. Most work is performed remotely.
03Do you handle IFRS / IAS reporting?
Yes. We audit entities reporting under both Polish GAAP (UoR) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS / IAS), including consolidated financial statements of capital groups.
04What is the „CFO on demand" service?
Flexible financial-management support without hiring a full-time CFO. You can book a single consultation, an analysis of a specific decision (investment, M&A, restructuring) or a recurring engagement on selected days. We bill actual hours worked.
05Can we meet before engaging?
Yes. The first 60-minute conversation (online or at our Wrocław office) is free and non-binding. Afterwards we provide a concrete fee quote and timeline.
06Are you registered as an audit firm?
BD AUDYT Sp. z o.o. is entered on the register of audit firms maintained by the Polish Audit Oversight Agency (PANA) under number 4468. The company operates under statutory auditor Beata Wachowicz (PIBR registration no. 12851).
